What a great day we had on Sunday! We had 293 people gathered to worship our God and Creator. When many are gathered together it feels complete, energetic and so satisfying to connect with each other. Thank you for making Sunday a priority! Please encourage others to make Sunday a priority as well. We pray that we all can continue to do that throughout the year.
Hebrews 10 tells us:
So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body.
So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.
The benefits of meeting together regularly can make a positive, lasting impact on your life and the lives of your children.
You are Developing your Faith, and that of your family, by providing your child with over 650 hours of biblical instruction before they are 18, and 40 hours each year of biblical encouragement and teaching for yourself, as well as weekly focused worship and praise of our God which anchors us throughout the coming week.
You are Choosing Community which enables you to connect with people and hopefully become part of a Life Group to make even deeper connections.
You will find ways to Join the Mission, serving in the Kingdom of God, which is one of the most fulfilling things we can do in life.
While we pray that everyone will be at church each Sunday this fall, we are setting aside, Sunday, November 18 as a special Every Member Jubilee Sunday, and we pray that you will make a special point of being here that day.
